It is an initiative that invites you to take solidarity action, based on trust. It consists of a prepay coffee  someone who can not afford to buy a cup of coffee. Arose in Naples, Italy, with the name "Caffe Sospenso" and, thanks to social networks, it has spread to several countries, with very good response from people.

Who we are?:
A group who believe in an inclusive, supportive and empathetic society. And we want this beautiful initiative is present in all parts of the US.

How it works?:
First coffee shops and establishments are invited to join the project.
Each property will have a logo of "GiftAcoffee", a poster explaining the initiative and a chalkboard announcing the number of remaining dishes and coffees and the delivered.

What it consists:
Every customer who enters the identified location may consume your coffee or other paid saucer and leave to someone in need and can not afford, whether you're homeless or extremely poor.

Who can participate?:
1) Any local (restaurant, bar, cafe, etc..) That serve food.
2) Any person who is able and willing to pay a coffee dish to give.
3) Volunteers who help us spread and inviting establishments.

How I can associate myself with GiftAcoffee?:

A) If you have a local:
You can contact us by mail giftacoffee@gmail.com to send documents and steps, it is very simple.

B) If you want to help:

     Contact the establishments and you'll know and platícales Coffee Pending. Encourage them to participate.
     Attend local participants and leave your coffee (or soup, tacos, etc ...) Earrings.
     Talk to your friends and promotes our Facebook posts and Twitter
     Email us if you have ideas, suggestions or if you want to be the coordinator (s) in your city.

C) If you want to support with material:
We do not receive cash donations, but in kind (eg printing vouchers, posters, paper cups, boards, banners, etc ...).We need all the help!

 

Other considerations:
This is a project based on solidarity and trust. It is best that the person can sit at the tables, but if the places, for various reasons can not accommodate people in poverty or homeless, can serve coffee or snack to go.

Each listing is free to set its rules or limitations, if you comply with the assumed commitment to solidarity and notify both buyers and consumers. (eg "coffee, or dish pending" may have a more affordable price or distributed in a given time, or a voucher that you bought it to give to those who want it delivered).

If you notice any irresponsible action, you can contact us and if necessary, withdraw the local List and material identification.

There are endless possibilities, variations and ideas for this project and we are ready to listen.
